KSM Group Celebrates 47th Anniversary, Accelerating Leap as a Global Leader
KSM Group successfully hosted its 47th-anniversary commemorative ceremony, bringing together employees worldwide through events at the Daegot and Haseong campuses, along with live online broadcasting. The event served as an opportunity to reflect on 47 years of continuous innovation—including the localization of Mechanical Seals and the development of world-class Metal Bellows and Heaters—and to reaffirm the company's commitment to future growth.
In his commemorative speech, Chairman Kim Yun-ho emphasized that "world-class technology is the only path to survival" amidst rapidly changing global dynamics and geopolitical uncertainties, urging the organization to advance under the slogan of 'GOOD TO GREAT.' He highlighted the vital importance of cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing components in the era of the AI-driven 4th Industrial Revolution, alongside strong ambitions to expand global market share by advancing RCP seals for nuclear power plants and developing new compressor seals for the LNG and ammonia markets. Furthermore, he stressed the necessity of data-driven innovation, seamless cross-departmental communication, and a continuous habit of questioning and improving everyday processes.
During the ceremony, the company expressed its deep gratitude to those who have driven its success, presenting plaques and gold bars to 33 long-service employees and 2 merit award winners. By also inviting three outstanding partner companies, KSM reaffirmed the true value of collaborative growth, while employees celebrated the milestone with a specially prepared premium luncheon. Built on a 47-year legacy and the unyielding "make it happen" spirit, KSM Group will continue to push the boundaries of innovation and solidify its position as a true global leader.

[EXHIBITION] SEMICON CHINA 2026
· Date: March 25–27, 2026
· Venue: SNIEC, Shanghai, China
· Booth No: 2380
KSM participated in SEMICON CHINA 2026, Asia's largest semiconductor industry exhibition, held from March 25 to 27 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), accelerating its global market penetration. KSM actively engaged in technical exchanges, highlighting its flagship 'Welded Metal Bellows.'
China is currently a key hub for the next-generation global semiconductor market, with equipment manufacturers shifting to mass production and accelerating strategies for 'de-risking' and supply chain localization. Notably, China's global production share of legacy process (22nm–40nm) semiconductors is projected to expand from 37% in 2026 to 42% in 2028. Coupled with expanding investments in AI and data center infrastructure, government-led support for the advanced robotics industry, and OLED-focused display facility investments, the demand for precision components and test solutions is rapidly increasing. In advanced vacuum applications where extreme precision, flexibility, and durability are absolute requirements, the superior technology of our metal bellows aligned perfectly with these market trends, drawing enthusiastic interest and practical demand from local buyers.
Particularly noteworthy was our strategic booth operation (No. 2380), which focused entirely on 'close communication with customers' rather than unnecessary outward appearances. We created a highly dense, private, and comfortable consultation space, concentrating all our efforts on in-depth technical and business meetings with genuine clients. KSM's strategy of 'selection and concentration' led to high visitor satisfaction and significantly contributed to vitalizing practical order discussions.
Starting with this exhibition, KSM plans to further solidify cooperative relationships with major customers in China while actively discovering new clients and expanding business opportunities. We will continue to expand our global competitiveness through closely customized technical collaboration and the supply of high-quality components.

[EXHIBITION] SEMICON EUROPA 2025
KSM participated in SEMICON EUROPA 2025, one of Europe’s major semiconductor industry exhibitions, further strengthening its technical collaboration with customers in the region. Held in Munich, Germany from November 18 to 21, the event provided an opportunity for KSM to expand its engagement in the European market with a focus on its core semiconductor component technologies.
The KSM booth was designed as a conversation-driven space that enabled the team to meet directly with customers and gain deeper insights into their technical requirements and market needs. Key products, including Welded Metal Bellows and Semiconductor Heaters, were prominently displayed to give visitors a close look at KSM’s precision engineering capabilities.
In addition, three consecutive years of participation have helped reinforce and expand KSM’s relationships with European customers. Many who had visited the booth in previous years returned, which naturally extended long-term partnerships. Companies that had been difficult to reach previously also visited the booth, creating opportunities for a wider range of technical discussions.
The exhibition also highlighted strong interest in KSM’s Semiconductor Heater. Numerous new customers explored the product and engaged in follow-up conversations that opened the door to future collaboration.
A KSM representative noted that the trust the company has steadily built with customers in Europe became even more evident at this year’s exhibition. The company will continue to strengthen trust-based technical partnerships in the global market.
